Donate at Energise Mame Diarra Diallo center from

For over twenty years, La Palabre has stood alongside vulnerable people, particularly women, girls, and children who are survivors of violence and has fought against harmful practices such as female genital mutilation. In Dakhar Mbaye, Thiès (Senegal), our Mame Diarra Diallo Center is far more than a roof: it is a refuge, a place to be heard, and a space for care, shelter, and training where residents heal psychologically and regain social and economic autonomy.
Thanks to solar energy, the center had operated safely and autonomously but our batteries are now out of service. Without storage, everything shuts down at nightfall. In concrete terms, this means the admission of women in distress becomes uncertain, emergency services are inaccessible at night, educational activities and care are suspended, and insecurity grows where people come seeking peace and protection.
We are launching this campaign to raise 5,879€ to replace the solar batteries and restore the center’s energy autonomy. Your donation has a direct, immediate impact: it turns the lights back on, keeps nights safe, ensures continuity of shelter and care, and enables us to welcome up to 30 women and girls with dignity. Every contribution counts, whatever the amount and every share does too. Together, let’s switch the lights back on and above all, hope.
